Is real money involved? +
Yes. Bets are settled through Stripe. If you lose, the money actually moves to your friend or to a chosen destination.
Can I bet with more than one friend? +
Yes — group bets let you put multiple people on the line, with shared rules and a voting layer for proofs.
What if I forget to submit proof? +
If proof isn't submitted in time, the bet auto-resolves against you. You can configure reminder cadence.
How do you verify proofs? +
Photo proof is reviewed by your bet partner(s). For group bets, a vote is taken. Unreviewed proofs auto-approve after a configurable timeout.
Is there an iOS app? +
Coming soon — currently in App Store review. The web app at app.comitto.app works great on mobile in the meantime.
Where is my data? +
Encrypted at rest in Supabase, hosted in the EU. We don't sell or share data. See the Privacy page for the full breakdown.
